CA' LA GHIRONDA
Ca' la Ghironda is a museum space based in the Ponte Ronca section of the town of
Zola Predosa, and is home to a collection of modern and contemporary paintings and
sculpture. Its grounds, which includes the \"Petite\" and the \"Grande Promenade\",
extends to a vast area covering 10 hectares. The flora is displayed in a botanical
garden. Following a gentle path up the hillside, we can admire 210 sculptures by some
of the most important masters of our times: Manzù, Zorio, Messina, Minguzzi, and others,
created from an array of materials, and exhibited without regard for any banal chronological
order. There is also an open-air theatre, while inside the modern residence 500 works
by the most significant national and international artists from the 1500s to the present
can be found, along with a convention center and debate halls, and an important hospitality
center: a Resort with 49 units and a Restaurant. The new museum which has only very
recenly been completed is the exhibition center of a one-of-a-kind museum space where
art shows and all kinds of meetings are held, a place where both private and public
institutions can carry out high level cultural activities, whether in the form of
exhibitions, performances, conferences or research.
